   "description": "La capa de coberturas de la tierra del periodo Enero 2024 se genera mediante la interpretación y reinterpretación visual de imágenes satelitales de alta resolución (PlanetScope o Sentinel-2, con píxeles menores o iguales a 10 metros), aplicando la metodología CORINE Land Cover adaptada para Colombia y desarrollada por el Instituto SINCHI. El procedimiento consiste en generar una primera capa como línea base y actualizarla cada tres meses, redelimitando únicamente las áreas que presentan cambios de cobertura.El tamaño mínimo de las coberturas representables en el mapa es de 1,5 ha. Para los territorios artificializados y superficies de agua transformadas por el ser humano, el tamaño mínimo es de 0,3 ha. Mientras las coberturas lineales, deben presentar un ancho mínimo de 25 m. En la reinterpretación solo se consideran los cambios iguales o superiores a 0,3 ha respecto al mapa del periodo anterior, descartando transformaciones de menor extensión.Finalmente, esta capa pasó por un proceso de control de calidad temática, control de calidad topológico, control de calidad de empalmes y control de calidad del mosaico final.La actualización se realiza cada tres meses sobre los 22 Núcleos de Desarrollo Forestal y de la Biodiversidad (NDFyB). La cobertura parcial abarca aproximadamente 5.000.000 ha de la Amazonia colombiana, distribuidas en los departamentos de Caquetá, Guaviare, Meta y Putumayo.",
